Your customers should not be your new advisor’s practice.
The Champion University 1-Day Service Advisor Boot Camp walks advisors through the complete customer experience—from answering the first phone call to delivering the finished vehicle.
Across 17 focused lessons, advisors learn how to take control of the call, write a clean repair order, manage scheduling and capacity, set honest expectations, understand the DVI, organize an estimate, explain recommendations clearly, handle customer concerns, provide proactive updates, and complete a professional final delivery.
This is practical training built from real situations inside real repair shops. The videos teach the standard, while the workbook and worksheets help advisors apply it to the way they communicate, document, and operate at the service counter.
Brand-new advisors are welcome to take the Boot Camp. However, advisors with less than one year of service-advisor experience must also complete Fresh Advisor Week One before becoming eligible for certification. Advisors with at least one year of experience may begin with the Boot Camp as the first day of Week Two in the Champion University Service Advisor Certification Path.
Completing the Boot Camp alone does not earn the full Champion University Service Advisor Certification.

AI is not coming to the automotive industry. It is already here. The real question is whether your shop will learn how to use it effectively—or continue treating it like a toy.
This free Champion University course teaches shop owners, managers, service advisors, and technicians how to use AI as a professional assistant. It does not replace experience, qualified diagnosis, manufacturer procedures, or human judgment. It helps good automotive professionals think faster, communicate more clearly, document more consistently, and turn what they know into systems other people can follow.
Across 10 practical sections, you will learn how to apply AI to:
• Customer communication
• Diagnostic research and preparation
• Service-advisor conversations
• Hiring and applicant screening
• SOP creation and documentation
• Employee training and education
• Marketing and social-media content
• Websites and online presence
• Workflow automation
• Everyday thinking, planning, and decision-making
Every section connects AI to situations that happen inside real repair shops. No coding background is required. The goal is not to chase technology—it is to use the right tools to improve clarity, efficiency, consistency, and professional performance.

Learn what the numbers actually mean, what they can reveal, and where they can become misleading. Advisors and managers learn how to use KPIs to identify opportunities, improve performance, and create accountability without allowing a dashboard to replace judgment, customer care, or proper process.

Turn more phone calls into confident customer relationships and properly scheduled appointments. Advisors learn stronger call flow, better questioning, objection handling, expectation setting, and how to communicate value without sounding scripted or pressured.

Better communication creates better customer experiences and fewer misunderstandings. This course teaches advisors how to listen, explain recommendations clearly, provide effective updates, set expectations, handle difficult conversations, and build trust from write-up through completion.

The customer experience does not end when the repair is finished. Advisors learn how to review completed work, explain the invoice, educate the customer, address future needs, and deliver the vehicle in a way that reinforces trust and gives the customer a reason to return.

Technical knowledge alone does not create an exceptional advisor. This training focuses on the mindset behind the position, including ownership, confidence, accountability, professionalism, customer perspective, and the personal standards required to grow from someone working the counter into someone customers and teammates can rely on.

Learn how to move a DVI from vehicle check-in to customer presentation without missed steps or mixed messages. Advisors leave with a repeatable process for organizing findings, setting priorities, and making clear recommendations.

A technician’s findings are not ready for the customer until the advisor reviews the evidence and builds an accurate estimate. Learn how to catch missing information, clarify recommendations, and present a complete plan the customer can understand.

A DVI process only works when the standard is measured and enforced. Learn how to audit inspections, identify recurring weaknesses, coach the team, and create accountability without turning every mistake into a confrontation.

Strong recommendations require more than checked boxes. Learn how to use clear photos, useful notes, and accurate measurements to document vehicle conditions, support technician findings, and give customers evidence they can trust.

When every employee uses colors differently, the DVI loses credibility. Learn how to establish consistent standards, separate urgent needs from future concerns, and prioritize recommendations according to evidence—not opinion.

A DVI is not just a checklist or a tool for finding work. Learn how a properly built inspection process protects customers, improves communication, supports the repair team, and creates a standard the entire shop can stand behind.

Build the DVI training package your shop actually needs. Choose any five one-day DVI courses to strengthen documentation, improve estimate accuracy, create consistent standards, and give your team a process customers can trust.
